· Has provided it’s client base with supplier management, integration engineering and systems safety expertise on Eurofighter Typhoon, Nimrod MRA4, A300/A310 and Starstreak, missile systems

· Is comfortable working with specifications and standards such as ISO9000 Def-Stan 00-56 and JAR25

Airelec is based in Gloucester and owned by Phil Wilkinson. Phil is a Chartered Electrical Engineer. He trained as a technician apprentice with the MOD in Catterick Garrison before studying for an engineering degree at Coventry Polytechnic. After graduation he worked in various systems engineering and engineering management roles with British Aerospace, Kennedy and Donkin, Smiths Industries and Kembrey Wiring Systems. He founded Airelec in 1997.
